PowerCoding technology increases the fuel efficiency of diesel generators

Our engineering team for several years tests the power-generating equipment like: diesel engines and diesel generators operating by diesel and bio-diesel. This equipment a number of different fuels, including diesel oil, fuel oil, marine fuel and IFO-30, IFO-180, IFO-380. Fuel for the diesel generators was processed (ionized) that provide us at least 11-17% saving, and reduce harmful emissions, primarily – CO2, CO, and black-smoke, i.e. unburnt fuel particles, mainly soot (carbon C-deposit). In addition, improved fuel combustion in diesel engines reduces the accumulation of carbon deposits in the combustion chamber and the exhaust tract, which gives additional savings in the operation and maintenance of diesel generators.

THE TEST #1:

Diesel generator based on engine Perkins 4012-46TWG2A 1000kW, 1500rpm

Was started at 2002 and continue to 2012.

Special results:
in addition to saving, we have prolong the lubricant-oil change intervals from 200 to 400 working run hours. By changing the oil was still in good condition without carbon-deposit.

The running temperature drops up to 5 to 7 less then normal.

It was at the start of the test procedure apply the STORM’s Research Labs.’ technology known as PowerCoding.

The total saving effect was 17%, but never under 9%.

in case the fuel was used non-ionized, – the saving was max 15%. but never under 7%.

Remarkable was, that after the both of the diesel engine was opened and monitored for wear and tear – which was totally ZERO! The engines was in an absolutely new-like condition even they was under heavy duty runs for years, nearly without timeout

THE TEST #2:

diesel generator SDMO EXEL II X1650C 1500 kW by 1500rpm

  1. The condition and results was absolutely identically and have shows unique situation. We can speak about the average and stable fuel saving at least 11%. – Let’s talk about 11.

What is the 11% savings for us? Consider a typical 1 MW diesel generator based on the diesel engine Perkins 4012-46TWG2A (the fuel consumption by normal standard situation is 100% capacity 268 l/h). By operation 5000 hours per year at a rate of 200 kg/hour of annual fuel consumption is 1,000 tons. 11% fuel savings will save 110 tons per year, with the price of fuel about $500 dollars per ton, is the savings – US$ 55,000. Diesel power of 10 of these generators installed in the same complex, will save at least US-$ 500,000 per year on fuel, and approximately the same number will be saved in the reduction of maintenance costs.

As fazit we recommends for all our power-generating station over Europe to transfer and apply the PowerCoding processing for the engine’s recovery, and absolutely the fuel’ ionization technique.
